Escape Canberra's winter with an evening of great company and delicious food
Take the sting out of the cold with your fellow club members!!
Each July the Club schedules a dinner in Canberra's cold winter, this evening event provides us with a chance to step out of the cold and enjoy the warmth of one of Canberra's excellent restaurants to savour some delicious food accompanied by a range of divine wines (in moderation of course).
Akiba has been popular from inception with it's bright and exciting decor combined with delicious pan Asian cuisine. Akiba has been recently acknowledged by the Good Food Guide as one of Canberra's best restaurants and has continued to grow from strength to strength.
The menu and serving style is relaxed, designed to mimic the food halls and dining rooms of East Asia. The food itself showcases the many styles of Asian barbecue, raw bar and modern day dim sum and the eclectic menu is supported by an equally exciting drinks menu which features exotic cocktails and tap and craft beers - the cocktail of the month is always a safe bet.
We are having $49 banquet option and the club will subsidise drinks.
You can either pay in advance via an EFT to the clubs bank account or pay on the night in cash. The club's bank account details are as follows:
