HOLDEN DISPLAY & WAKE OVER EASTER – COOMA CAR CLUB MUSEUM

To celebrate almost 70 years of Australian manufacture – Cooma Car Club are ‘turning over’ their museum to display locally manufactured Holdens and Holden memorabilia over April and May.  Club organisers are hoping to display at least one example of every Holden series from the 1948 48-215 (FX) through to the VFII Commodore which was last manufactured in 2017.

The museum will be open to the public over the Easter weekend from Friday 10 April through to Monday 13 April from 10am to 4pm with entry by gold coin donation.  For dedicated Holden fans, there will be a wake/get together to reminisce about Holdens on Saturday 11 April from 4pm.

Visitors will also be able to see the progress of the building of the museum’s emblematic Montague Motors service station which is nearing completion.

Club members who have a Holden or Holden memorabilia that they want displayed should call Kel Goodman on 0478 000 374 so that their name can be put on the list, as there are too many vehicles available to be all displayed together.
