Learn how to control your car in wet weather conditions

In wet weather conditions your car's braking and handling are very different to the dry, this will be an educational event run by a driving school that will provide valuable instruction to yourself in learning how to anticipate and handle wet weather conditions.

The event is perfect as a refresher for yourself or would be perfect for a young driver in your family to receive some expert tuition that may help them avoid an accident on the road. Drivers on their L plates are most welcome and qualified driving instructor will go out with them in the passenger seat to provide safe instruction.

The skidpan we utilise is located at the Sutton Road Driver Training Complex, located between Canberra International Airport and Queanbeyan.

The skidpan is a kidney shaped purpose built circuit. The surface is smooth concrete which, when wet, becomes very slippery.

The skidpan will not damage your car. The surface provides very little traction, meaning it won't wear your tyres. The area is surrounded by high grip concrete, meaning you won't come off the circuit.

All vehicles must be registered as this is a requirement of the training facility.
